A+America - The A+America Free Technology For Schools Program provides FREE educational technology, including computers, software and audio-visual equipment, to schools through over 80 corporate sponsors.  Any k-12 school in the U.S. is eligible to partiipage and the ability to earn free technology exceeds any other program of its kind.

ASCD - Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development that is a good professional resouce.

Busy Teachers Website - An excellent overall K-12 resource for teachers that is simple and easy to use.

Educational Research Network - The Educational research Network's mission, both in the Educational Research Newsletter and on the website, is to bild a close-knit community amoung parents, teachers, teacher educators, administrators, policy makers and researchers who produce and use educational knowledg. 

Educational Software Institute - ESI Online is one of the largest and finet collection of K-12 educational software - more than 8,000 titles from over 350 publishers.  If you're a parent, educator or student, you canse this easy-t0-search online catalog to find just the right programs for your needs.

Education World - This site is a complete resource guide to the Internet.  Education World's goal is to make it easy for educators to integrate the Internet into the clasroom.

ERIC - The Educational Resources Infortion Center is one of the most complete educational resources on the web.

George Lucas Educational Foundation - GLEF gathers, synthesizes and disseminates information in several media to:  Promote and support changes to the K-12 educational system; share the latest strategies for improving schools, especially those that integrate technology with teaching and learning;connect people to information and each other to share ideas and resources.; show exciting schools and programs in action; provide a common framework and language to understand the research-based theories and ideas behind outstanding schools and programs; and Identify ways for all citizens to make informed decisions about transforming the schools in their communities.

Global SchooNet Foundation - Global SchoolNet's mission is to "harness the power of the Internet" to provide ongoing opportunities to support learners both in and outside of the school environment.  Microsoft has joined forces with the Global SchoolNet Foundation in a focused effort to bring the very best education resources to students, educators, parents and the extended learning community.

HeadboneZone - A good educational site for elementary age children

Internet Public Library - An on-line library with youth and teen sites.  A very good and complete resource.

Lesson Plans - The Education Resource Center is dedicated to helping professional educators, student teachers, parents, mentors and tutors educate children by providing access to educatin resources.

National Geographic On-line - One of the best nature and geography resources on the web.

Puzzle Maker - Puzzlemaker is a puzzle generation tool for teachers, students and parents.  You can create and print customized word search, crossword and math puzzles using your word lists.

Seaworld - Excellent classroom resources for the study of fish and animals

Student Teacher Development in Classroom Management - Interactive tool for learning good behavior management techniques.

The Teachers Net - an excellent site for teachers that features a reference desk, chatboard, lesson exchange, and hompepage maker.

50 States - This site provides detailed information and links on all 50 states

Clipart - A large collection of photos and illustrations that can be copied to your website or presentations.  Thousands of photos available using a search box on the homepage.
