This 1970 Tartan 27 yawl, hull number 517, was our first offshore sailboat. We sailed from Michigan City Indiana, north to South Haven, during the spring of 1971. The boat, for two years, was moored here in Pentwater. We sailed Green Bay, northern Lake Michigan and Huron, exploring most of the Habors along Lake Michigan.
